Hello from Texas

Hi all :) I just found this site and am glad I did, I have been looking for a discussion board since I was diagnosed in March. I have stage IV breast cancer that has spread to my spine and liver. So far I am responding well to treatment. Tumor markers were 77 when diagnosed and are at 23 as of yesterday.

Looking forward to meeting all of you.

    I'm glad you found us.. I'm sorry for the reason that propted you to look for us.. You will find here a wealth of information, support, love, acceptance and a group of warriors who are determined to not allow that Canc** beast to beat them down. We will all be here for you.. every step of the way.

    I am just beginning my journey.. this group.. well.. let's just say they are the best of the best!

    So.....what took you so long? Darn, we absolutely need more billboards along the highway!! To be honest, I'm fairly new too and can tell you this is the only place to be in my opinion. Welcome....we look forward to walking with you in your journey. :) Pammy

    Though sorry for your diagnosis, it's great to know you're responding well to your current treatment. HOPE is like air, water and food for us - absolutely necessary for survival. I will sincerely HOPE that your treatment brings you back to good health.

    The others are absolutely right, this place and all these fine folks are the best. Everyone here is like my extended family and I know I can talk with them openly. You will find that you will be tell us anything thing and we will listen.

    We will be there to lend you a shoulder to cry on if you need it. We will also be there to brighten your days. The bond between us is strong and it happens so quickly. I've only been here since early May, but I know I can log on anytime day or night and someone will be there.

    It's great to hear that you are responding well to treamtment. That is awesome!!
