Results as of today

Unfortunately the biopsy results were not in yet, but my Onocologist feels that I am not only tumor free but cancer free as well, he doesn't expect any surprises from the pathology reports. My PET scan was totally clear, and the fact that there was no tumor seen in the colonoscopy made him quite positive that all was well. The pathology report should be in by Monday, but I am not expecting any changes in the news I received today.

Now just move forward until the next three month screening comes along.

    I'm sorry your biopsy results were not in but it all sounds very good to me! Congrats on all the good news! :) That is wonderful!

    You will do well....
    I have no doubt your PET will be negative for any cancer. You were Stage 1 and that is such a curable cancer. I am 17 months out of treatment and NED. As I was told, if this type of cancer returns, it typically does so in 24 months. After that it probably will not return and after 5 years you are considered cured! Positive thoughts to you!

    My PET was negative! I am not too concerned about the biopsies they took during the colonoscopy after all they didn't see anything to be alarmed about, like I mentioned before a little scar (very tiny) then some damage from the radiation, but no signs of anything else. We are just waiting for the biopsy reports to come back that were taken during the colonoscopy, but I don't look for any changes to my CANCER FREE diagnosis!

    Really glad to hear about your news, I hope one day to be NED as well, I know it's wishing for alot, but it's a dream of mine, and hopefully my dream will come true :)
