Steph..Thank you soooooooo much... my niece came in here a minute ago ... about the time I had finished blowing my nose from crying... and she wanted to check her thread... and there you were!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read it to her...every word... out loud.. she had a couple of tears in her eyes.. and said "WOW".. I asked her how it made her feel... and she said it made her feel really good.. that someone would take the time to write just to her... I just got a big hug..SMILE AND AN "I LOVE YOU AUNT T"... You don't know what that just meant.. thank you.. from the bottom of my heart... okay.. crying again..

    Now you made me cry. Thank you for the thank you. She is a very special young lady. And I think that with all she has been through that she will be able to handle what is going on with you. I think we underestimate kids and their ability to understand and to accept this things. I think, in most cases, not knowing is the worst. Our imaginations can do terrible things to us. We know this from our own reactions to diagnosis so how much worse is it for a youngster. Better to be upfront and honest and let them share the journey, than conjure up terrible images on their own. I am so glad that she read it and could see how much I care. I don't always write to each individual person when they first come on this site and many times I just read and occasionally respond, but I carry all of my cancer family in my heart and my prayers. Because family, related by blood, online, or just friends that are family, is what gets us through this.

    Stef... amen to that...
    Stef... amen to that... personally I don't think I could really do this without all of you.. seriously.. All of you have helped me to find strength that I didn't know I had.. It has always been much easier for me to help others fight "their" battles... than have to fight my own... was never good at letting people take over "for" me.. this time.. wow.. it's a learning curve!

    My heart is extremely greatful!

    I am okay.. just a situation
    I am okay.. just a situation with my niece.. If you see the thread..."input, suggestions...delecate case" check it out.. just something that happend with my niece last night... I'm doing alright now..Thanks Julie
