I was so tempted !
I can't tell you how tempted I was to say "Well ... other than having breast cancer, pneumonia ... my left ankle swollen as big as my calf ... other than that ... I'm just fine!"
But ... I left out the details ... and just said "I'm fine" ... which I mean as:
F = frustrated
I = insecure
N = neurotic
E = exhausted
hugs.

I know how you feel.........
I know how you feel Teena. I'm still trying to get my own health back on track. Then hubby needed open heart surgery 10 days ago. I took him back today for his follow-up with the surgeon, and he was admitted to the hospital again, with a blood clot.
It's like.....WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!! Geez...............

Oh no, so very very sorry. One would think you have had enough. I am at a loss of words. I just know you have to do what ever it takes to keep moving forward for the both of you. God Bless and take care.

You have had enough already hun, Sorry your hubby had to go back in the hospital. I will be praying for you both tonight. You are so strong..you will also get through this. And then the sun will begin to peak out of the clouds.

Temptation
Teena, I have felt the same temptation. At least the person you were speaking to could not see you. I was surprised that, even with my bald head and a clearly flat left side, strangers still ask that question. You'd think they could use another courtesy phrase. I like your FINE and will remember it when I also reply with the expected response.
I am sorry, though, that you are still dealing with the swollen ankle as well as pneumonia and, of course, the bc. Did you call your doctor about the ankle?
I agree also with the others: your working fulltime through all that is impressive. You are one strong woman--as we already knew.0 -
A big "setback"...CR1954 said:I know how you feel.........

During my treatments, all the nurses/techs universally used the word "setback" to describe events exactly as you're now experiencing, Cindy. Yeah, an unfortunate setback, big time.
Enough already! I totally agree... But, you will both get through this, I know it.
Take good care of yourself, too, CR.
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Yes, we will get through this. Another bump in the road is all. And my seemingly ever optimistic attitude will drag him along with me...lol!
I'm just very thankful that they found this so quickly and have started treating it.
Meanwhile, I'm not being a smartie, or in any way questioning my faith, but Lord, if you're listening.....could we please catch a break for awhile!? I mean, if these are all tests, either pass us or flunk us already!
Love you all,

CR, so sorry, you seem to have been given more than your share. The Lord must think you are a pretty strong women to have given you so much responsibility. I think though it is never without purpose. Sounds like you could use a rest though to catch your breath. Wish I was closer, I would offer my help. Hang in there best you can and know that we appreciate all the encouragement you give us even with your plate as full as it is!! I will keep you in my prayers. Hugs....:) Pammy0
