1st Tooth fairy visit
He was so excited to lose one before the end of the school year which will end next Wednesday.
Tooth fairy left $5.00 for his first tooth. (His godfather gave me the money from the tooth fairy.)
Inflation now a days.
Now they will probably come out fast and furious--hope not to break the bank--tooth fairy can't afford $5.00 a tooth--only the first one and then after that the price goes down.
LOL

25 centsRE said:sweet
How cute, I bet he was quite excited! We got a silver dollar each time. Thanks for sharing!

I also got just 25 cents--it is the times.
Jake told me that one of the little girls in his class got $100.00 for her tooth---I don't think people can afford that--maybe got $10.00 and thought it was $100.00.
Silver Dollars great idea--will have to stock up.

Hahaha!
Yay Jake! Way to go, bud!
My kids got $1. And if this gives you an indication of my age.....I got 10 cents from the Tooth Fairy! LOL!
I'm so laughing because when my daughter was around 7 yrs. of age, she was all upset when the kids at school told her that there was no Santa Claus. She came home to me and demanded to know. So, I sat her down and with a sad heart that she had to lose that wonderful innocence, I told her that no, there really was no Santa.
She thought about it for a minute, then put her hand on her hips and in a belligerent voice says...well, now I suppose you are going to tell me there is no Tooth Fairy either!!
I guess after that, she figured out on her own that the Easter bunny was also a myth, because she never asked me about that! LOL!!

must be lots of fairies
There must be many different fairies. Mine left little prizes or "I owe you" notes from my parents..."I owe you an ice cream" "I owe you a day when I clean your room for you" or such as that. I loved the notes, (especially when I got out of doing chores) and tried to do that with my kids. Not sure they were as thrilled as I was.
Congrats anyway. seof0 -

We must be near the same age because I also received a dime. And my daugter got a dollar. Kids at school told my brother when he was 7 there was no Santa but my brother told them there must have been because our parents couldn't afford to have bought the cool firetruck with the bell and ladder that he could pedal and give me rides on that year. So he believed in Santa for many more years. And no of us even mentioned to our parents when we stopped believing. I think maybe we thought that the gifts would stop if we confessed we knew.

Sweet story!
Wow, agree - $5.00!!! Inflation, I guess. OK, maybe for the first and last ones. Or, since Jake's godfather started it with the five bucks - make HIM pay for the rest, too! Then, when Jake comes of age - his godfather can share the real story with him! Ha ha!
Kind regards, Susan0 -

I have been meaning to tell you this, but I keep forgetting. (chemo brain, menopause, short attention span..whatever).
Anyway, I met a very lovely lady last Fall. She and I started talking, and she said her name was Carol. She said, however, that everyone in her family called her Christmas Carol, because she was born on Christmas Day!
Christmas Girl and Christmas Carol!
It's so cool that I know two awesome-tastic ladies, who were born on Christmas day!!

For sharing that. In my whole life, I've met/heard of only two others with Christmas birthdays. Now, I know of three!
