VENT
Vent like all hell..........That is just so not good.......Get Hosed of and tell them so..........I had exactly the same. Has my surgery on dec 18th 2008 and my doctor bogged off to the Bahamas to play golf the day after, My regular doctor had cleared off to Jo'Burg South Africs the next day......I had to get drugs sent from a strange doc who had no idea of my historjy..........But I was in bloody agony.;
Sods!

My thoughts
I would try to see somebody about it. Maybe you could see if another Dr. in the same facility as yours could see you...not as good as the one who knows you, but he should have access to your files. If you have to go to your family Dr. tell him as much as you can and see if you can get copies of your records, or have them sent immediately. When your Dr. gets back let him/her know that you had to go to someone else and let him know what happened in as much detail as possible.
I hope you get some good answers soon, seof0 -

What???? Even though my Onco Doc wasn't there everytime I needed something, he had an on-call Dr who would advise me! Sometimes I was directed to my regular Dr, but that wasn't a "given"....if your Dr isn't there, ask to be directed to whomever is on call!

there is no one...I sometimes feel like they think I am paranoid! duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
this is something I don't think should be treated lightly, yet they don't think it is a big deal...I know they are the specialist, but I know my body better than they do.

Is there an ER nearby, where you can be seen? If so, call your onc's office back and tell them that you are going there, as you feel that this is an important issue. Then have the ER doc send your report to your onc.
If no ER and no Dr. close by, you may need to take a sick day and go see another doctor. I know...what a PIA! But if you think the bump is getting worse, and the pain is worse, you should be seen by someone.

Everybody needs a hug now & again. I can only send virtual hugs, and they are really just so much better in person! Wish we lived closer!

Julie, I know your family Doc is not your primary Doc at the moment, however he still knows you and I would feel comfortable seeing him for his advice. The point being that you should see SOMEONE!! I know it's scary in this day to risk your job & time off but it's scarier to risk your health. Good luck and let us know what happens. Pammy0 -

Yes, please do see a doctor tomorrow, after work - if that is as soon as possible. Please don't put work before your health, not at this time.
Best wishes to you.
Kind regards, Susan0 -

Julie, I really think you
Julie, I really think you should have your arm seen by someone. If your family doctor can't see you then go to the emergency room. Don't wait for the doctor to come back. Where are you in WV? Hugs,Lili0 -
