My third 3 month post treatment checkup!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to share my joy. I had my third 3 mo. checkup yesterday and all is well. I am on Arimedex and tried to blame my weight gain on it, but my dr. explained how the abrupt menopause affects my metabolism, blah blah blah :-), so found out that I am going to have to eat smarter, eat less, and work out harder if I want to get this extra twenty lbs off my rear! My brother made a comment to my husband about my growing backside, and my husband made him feel about 2 in. tall, when he told him it was my cancer meds.
I thought it was so funny that my husband made up an excuse for me! That was sweet :-)

I am back into yoga 3x week, and need to start walking more, so surely that will help.

Anyway, I want all of you to know how great it is to get these clean checkups and what you have to look forward to...I feel better each day, and am so thankful to be one of you.

    What a great day this is! To hear that your check up was ok! Great news Debbie! Just what we all hope and pray for! And, you look MARVELOUS, so, don't worry if you have a few extra on you, it is obvious your husband loves you and can't even see them. That is what true love is! And, from what I see, you are beautiful! We all need to exercise, even if we don't need to lose a couple.

    Debbie, that is fabulous news. I can certainly relate to the 20 lbs but I was menopausal before dx and skinny as a rake, now I can't believe I can't get this weight off. It's great you are feeling so good and might I add that the comment your husband made makes him a #1 dude. What a sweet thing to do! You go and enjoy your life and what better time to be finished tx's than the summer.
