Okay... totally off course.. does this site have the ability for private chat? how do you email someone on here?? I'm all confused? Seems to be my natural state lately.

    chat
    Hi Taleena ...

I don't know about a private chat ... but you can send personal email messages to just one specific person. You just go to the top of the screen where it says "CSN Home" ... and then go to the column that says "Connect" ... and click on "new email" ... and that will take you to a screen where you "Write a New Message"

In the space where it says "TO" you just have to type the persons "name." For example if I wanted to send you a private/personal email I would just type in "Taleena" and if you wanted to send me a message you would just type in "TGF"

It's really pretty simple ... I just hope I've given you the right directsion ... :-)

    good luck.

    hugs.

    Double posts do happen...
No need to be sorry! - it's probably happened to all or at least most of us at one time or another... Just passing along a little tip, learned from my own experience...

Once I click on "Post comment" - I take my hand completely off the mouse, don't touch it. And then just wait for the site to do its thing. I have no idea if my mouse is super sensitive, or maybe the site itself is... I'm certainly no "techie" - just a user!

Also, when a double post appears (and since we don't have the option to "delete" - why not? who knows), another member shared with me this little trick. Go back into the 2nd one - "edit" - and delete all the text. Since the two "fields" - subject line and body - cannot be empty, just add in a "." (period) to each. Reduces "space" on the thread. When other members see that - we all know what happened, anyway!

Or, like you did here, some times I and others just type in a little message on the not-on-purpose 2nd post. :-)

    Kind regards, Susan

P.S.: Yeah, technology - it's a love/hate thing, isn't it? (At least for most.) Can't live without it, and some times can't live with it!

    Chat room
Hi taleena after you sign in you can go to the chat room ( at same place you sign into discussion boards) and you will see a list of people who are in the chat room. If you click on the name of someone you want to talk to it will put you in private chat with them or you can just sart typing in the bar at the bottom (press enter) and talk to everyone. Hope I haven't confused you.
