KAT11 - Good Luck Tomorrow And Good Luck With Your Surgery Wednesday!
I just wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow with the nodes dye test. I am sure that you will get thru it just fine and I will pray for no pain with it.
And, for your surgery Wednesday, I will keep you in my thoughts and my prayers. Just know that we are all here thinking of you and hoping for the best for you!
If or when you get a chance and feel like it, please post and let us know how you are doing as we will be waiting anxiously to hear. I, for one, will miss your posts here as you are a true delight! Good luck Kathy! Love, Jeanne

Thanks Jeanne, I am really scared, not so much tomorrow but Wedensday.
Being scared Kat is very normal. We have all been there. But, just have faith and believe that you will come out the victor in this journey. Surround yourself with loved ones and put trust in your medical team. This is a scary ride, but, you will come out of it free of the beast! I wish I knew the perfect words to write to you to make you feel at ease, but, I don't. All I can say, is trust Kat, trust in the Lord, trust in yourself and trust in your medical team! Lots of hugs! Lord,
Please take Kathy by the hand and walk with her through her upcoming surgery.
Help to calm her fears and help her to see that you placed the best people in her path for her healing.
We know through you ALL things are possible and only you know her heart, Lord, and what she needs at this time of her trial.
We ask that you wrap your arms around her and comfort her as she marches forward.
Give her the strength she needs and show her your love.
We ask this in the name of the Lord...Amen0 -

Good luck Kat.I know it's scary, but at least after tomorrow you'll have the whole picture and a plan of attack...and that is comforting in it's own way....
I'll be getting my first chemo(if I don't run away..I think that's what the friend/family member is actually for...to keep us from running away!)so it's a scary day in another way for me.

A lot of us have been in your shoes and scared. Another fear of the unknown. But soon it will be behind you and you can move forward in your journey.

Fear of the unknown is always the worst.......Know that you have the thoughts and prayers of your loved ones, and all of us UNKNOWNS. You'll do great.......after all, we are WOMEN!
If you're having a lumpectomy with sentinel node biopsy, I had it 2 weeks ago.......I SWEAR it wasn't bad.......soreness and discomfort, but I actually never had what I call real pain..Was sent home with oxycontin and only took that for two days.....my surgery was at 1:00 and I was home on my couch by 4:15, being waited on hand a foot by the hubby and my sister in law....I was able to "milk" (no pun intended) that for about 5 days....sigh....Now, it's business as usual.....I see my surgeon and the radiologist oncologist tomorrow......
It's important to take your pain meds regulary, every 4-6 hours as prescribed, that way what pain there is won't have a chance to "get a hold of you".......
Again, best wishes and LOTS OF PRAYERS go out to you.......God Speed!

I thought maybe we would hear something from you by now. I am new here, but, when I saw that you were having surgery, I just got a little impatient to know if you were ok. Guess I am scared too. I hope everything is ok with you.0 -
