Hi Everyone,
I know I havent been on for awhile sorry. Been trying to work as many hours as possible at work. Getting ready for Relay in June and started a support group in our town. Thanks for all the ideas for groups name. Everyone relly liked Bossom Buddies. Went to the Dr. the other day for chemo and she wants me to see another Dr. that does Pain Management I said ok but cant see him til Aug. Has anyone had good results going to pain management? Im welling to try anything as all pain meds and patch is not good for me Im sure. But the pain is soooo intense most days. If anyone has any ideas for relieving the pain please let me know. Miss chatting with all. But as you all know when Im done at work am so tired I dont get on computer much.
LOVE AND PRAYERS TO ALL

    Hi, chetra!
Nice to see you here again! Good luck to you with the Relay for Life event in June. And, congratulations on success with your local support group - Bosom Buddies is an awesome choice for the name!

Regarding "pain management"... Do you mean pain specifically induced by the chemo? During my own chemo, and even to this day (over five years since completion), my oncology team allows me to use only OTC products - and Aleve (one lasts for 12 hours) is their best recommendation.

Best wishes to you. Hoping you'll get some relief soon.

    Kind regards, Susan

    Hi Chetra,
    You are a super

    Hi Chetra,
You are a super woman. I'm exhausted just listening to what you do. Is your pain going to be chronic-with you forever? If so, it depends on the pain mgmt. clinic itself. My onc. is doing mine. I take 1 30mg, slow release morphine tablet every 12 hrs. At night I take 2 15 mg. of reg. release morphine so I am able to sleep without pain. I don't feel drugged and I'm able to drive so I hope that someone can help you with your pain. You'll be in my thoughts.

    Love and gentle hugs,
    Donna
