Yes, quite possible...
Formaldehyde rash, I mean. Did you wash the shirt before you wore it? Honey, I wash EVERYTHING - clothing, towels, sheets... If it's fabric, I wash it first. ALL textiles are treated with formaldehyde after manufacture, to prevent mold. Supposedly at "safe" levels for human contact - HA! Yeah, right. And, from CHINA - fogedabawdit! They give a rat's arse about safety. Poison in the pet food, in the baby food, need I continue?
Chemo changed my skin forever. Yeah, over five years later. Thin as tissue paper, and super sensitive to everything. Soaps, shampoos, even laundry detergents. If your rash continues, please see a doctor. You might need a prescription strength solution, since the over-the-counter stuff isn't helping...

I really screwed up this time. I bought the shirts on my day off and wore one the next day to work. I didn't have time to wash them and this rash is pretty bad now. Never heard of such a thing. But, you might want to go to the emergency room if it gets worse. It could be serious. Otherwise, call you doctor Monday and see if they can give you a prescription for it. Good luck Tasha.0 -

Tasha, you may have a fungus rash and that requires special meds. You have to keep the area dry. Go see the MD and hopefully, he/she can give you something and it will go away quickly. HUGS!! Cathy0 -

I agree with Christmas Girl, I wash everything I wear first, also I agree with the others who tell you to get it checked out! I had a rash that sounds similar years ago..and I went to a skin specialist..It was a yeast thing and He told me to put selsome (sp.) Blue on it, and leave it on..yes I mean that dandruff shampoo...He said it was much cheaper and did the same thing as the perscription creams I could use. It worked!! but check with your DR. first to find out what it is.

Yes if it is under your breast it is probably a yeast rash. The new clothing could be a coincidence. I've had a rash there every summer since treatment. The dermatologist told me it would keep returning when conditions are right. So you just have to watch for it and treat it before it gets out of hand. So see a doctor and get it knocked out.0 -

Regardless of the reason why, or even where you got the rash, 2 weeks is too long to have it! Obviously, the OTC route isn't working~ time for a trip to the Dr for a proper diagnosis followed by a prescription, doncha think?
"Corvette-Man" is otherwise going to be put off by your underarm itchies, rash and goopy pits when you go on that date to the seashore. What? You didn't know that you are going to the shore, dressed in a darling tank-top and shorts, and kicky sandals??? Well, you know now! Get to the Dr, girlfriend!!!

I have a horrible rash on my neck that started as just a small spot. I did go to the doctor and she said it is a fungus. She gave me Ketoconazole cream, but it is gettiing worse instead of better. It burns and itches like crazy! I read on line that the Selsium Blue Shampoo will help. I also ready that if your are taking vitamins or other supplements that it might me feeding the fungus and keeping the ointment from working.
I have just gone back on Tamoxifen this Friday because the Oncologist thought that might be slowing down my healing of the radiation burn. That does look much better after being off the Tamoxifen for three weeks.
I was also just put on an antibiotic for a toe infection and some fluid behind my ears. My white blood cell count is a little low, so I am thinking that may be one reason all this stuff is hitting me a once.
I would like to know if anyone else has had this rash thing and what results you have had. It is driving me crazy!
