Finally some good news to share

Good morning,
Yes, I finally have some good news to share with you, I picked up my CT scan report and after 10 months of Topotecan chemo, my pelvis, abdomen and lymph nodes are stable with no sign of cancer. I guess that means that I'm in a remission, but I'll meet with my oncologist Monday and go over the report with him. His concern was the CA125 going up for 3 straight months.
I've been on chemo for 2 years steady, with only a 4 month break, so we're not expecting this to be a long remission, but hey! I'll gladly take anything I can get to let my body, and bone marrow recover a little from the chemo.
So, there is good news and hope that all of us can hit the right drug, and have a good outcome. Of course prayers, and lots of Thank You to God played a major role!
I wish all of you a lovely and healthy day,
Jane

Good news
My CA 125 is slowly going up also but the CT's and physical exams are still clear. I will find out in June what we will do. I believe that as long as it is only the blood marker going up and it is a good indicator so far for me, that I will stay on the anti estrogen pill until another area shows growth. I'm not going to waste my feel good time on worry however. We'll see what June test show. I like to call it NED or no evidence of disease, rather than remission. But that is really good news for you and you have a lovely day also. I sent you an e-mail....did you get it? Saundra0 -
