rub it in Georgegkoper said:Hey Jim
Things are looking good so far...tomorrow I go in for a cystogram to check for leaks...no leaks, cath comes off. Have not needed any pain meds except for 2 percocets in the hospital overnighter. Took my last antibiotic today. I must say that my cold was the worst thing about the surgery. The side effects remain to be seen. All in all, the wine tastes very good tonight.
Cheers,
George
LMAO Sure rub in the fact that your cath is coming out after only 7 days, while I have to suffer 4 more days...Just kidding, good for you, I am glad to hear that all is going so good for you also. I start my antibiotic after cath removal, they did give some in the IV tho. That and something in a needle.. wow, sooo nice... lol

Cath gone
yES i PASSED THE LEAK TEST. Then my doc removed my cath & said all cancer was contained. Will get psa test in a month. Good thing I had a depend because I did not have much bladder control after cath removal. That should quickly get better. Hang in there Jim, Monday will be a good day for you.

You get that cath off Jim???
George
Sure did George... ahhhhhhhhhhh... I have been posting under ismetals new thread "new post op class",... he was thinking this thread was getting long... How have you been doing? I actually have alot of control over the incontinence. I went thru 3 pads fairly fast, every 2 hours it seemed. Then it got to where I could hold most of it until I could get to the b-room. I have antibiotics to take for 3 days, then a check up in 4 weeks. It was liberation day to say the least. The last 3 days were the hardest.
