question on new blood vessels forming and swelling

Hello everyone. Has anyone noticed new formation of blood vessels near their tumors or swelling? The fancy term is angiogenesis. In my case, I noticed a lot of blood vessels at the surface of my skin. I am usually a nurse's worst nightmare. I have horrible tiny veins that hide and blow and oftentimes, I have needed flight nurses to come and find the darn things! Now, I have lots of blood vessels all over that area and I don't even need a band around my arm to see them. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this oddity. I guess perhaps I should explain the rest of my situation. I have blood pressure issues and I am required to take my blood pressure several times a day. I noticed that I was having a hard time getting a reading on my left arm. I felt around and noticed a small lump. Over the past 5 weeks, I have grown 8 new blood vessels around the area. I have one that is actually curving around some swelling I have on the top of my forearm. The swelling is shaped like an egg. The swelling is also expanding above the crease of my elbow. I have horrible pain that is for the most part a constant dull ache. However, it builds over time of a few hours and feels like my arm is going to explode and then the pain goes back to being a dull ache. I am going to see the only soft tissue sarcoma doctor in my state in a week. I am just curious to know if any of you have experienced this too. None of the other physicians I have seen can even had any experience with any of the symptoms I was having. Thanks!
