Funny Radiation Onc.story

So yesterday I met with my radiation onc. for the 1st consult. He was genuinely amazed to discover that I was pushing 60, so of course I love him...but that's not the funny part.
I had a rt. mastectomy with an expander, but didn't do anything to the left breast.
We were discussing how my expander would have to be deflated before we started radiation.
Then he says"we'll probably need to deflate the other one too". I just looked at him blankly for a second and said"that could be interesting...and painful"...It took him a sec. to realize that the left one was real breast...then we cracked up!

    I didn't think anything could be funny at a rad. onc., visit, but you proved me wrong, Dee! By the way, you don't look like you're pushing 60 to me, either. So, how hot is the rad. onc?

    Oh sooo hot Moopy! It's quite amusing to be able to discuss your boobies(in the most professional way of course)with a hot Rad.Onc. Now I have something to look forward to after chemo.Thanks for the compliment too.
