    lived there
    I lived in Ossining NY for 3 years. Moved around a lot with my ex-husband's job (old what's-his-name!). Originally from Indiana ... but my son was born while we lived in Royal Oak Michigan ... then we moved to Indianapolis ... then Mansfield Ohio ... then Ossining ... then outside of New Orleans. It's been an adventure since I love to travel. Every time we moved I'd make a point of seeing everything I could because I knew we wouldn't be there long. I'm now "back home again in Indiana" ... but sure do miss Louisiana.

    My son and his family live in Middletown CT ... so I get out there a couple of times a year ...

    I wish there was a place on our "profile" page for us to each put where we live. I think it would be very interesting

    I am from a small town (Giessen) in Hessen - about 50 miles north of Frankfurt. My husband and many of my friends insist however that I am more American than the American born - Hip, hip, hurray, America!!!! I came here in 1966 and am totally in love with Manhattan. I will move there as soon as I can find the approx. $5,000,000 for a crappy little co-op down there.

    Westport is about 20 minutes from my house.

    So, where in Germany were you raised?
