Well, Hans had his LAST (hopefully!) surgery yesterday for his heart!!!! We went to the hospital where I had worked, and where he is on staff. We found our 'big' family!!! Everyone was so caring and involved. SUCH a welcome change from the last facility!!! We had to stay overnight, which was a surprise, so I didn't come with all of my 'sleepover goodies'. As a result, I made many treks to the cafe for muchies...lol! We gave 'do not disturb' orders to the night nurse...he was on telemetry, so they could monitor his vitals from the nurse's station. So, no middle-of-the-night blood pressure cuffs...YEA!!!

Hans has a brand-new pacing unit now, and, baring any trouble, is good to go for 5-7 years. From the 'owner's manual' I learned that it can be accessed anywhere in the world....Hummmm, does that mean GPS???? And can I follow him wherever he is???? (ROFL)!

So, it looks like Holland is a great big GO!!!! I am sooooo pleased!!!

    Congrats! Get out there and buy those wooden shoes! Sounds like you have a great group of people taking care of both your needs, and that is always a plus

    So Happy and so envious.
    So Happy and so envious. The closest I ever came to Holland was when I was a little dutch girl for Halloween when I was about 7 or 8. Even had wooden shoes. So from a faux dutchgirl have a great time. And very happy than Hans is doing so well. That is the best news.
