Biopsy results

Biopsy results were inconclusive, WTF! The Drs said there is definitely abnormal cells, but they couldn't pinpoint it as any particular type of cancer. Surgery is scheduled for next friday. My surgeon and oncologist are puzzled, as are the pathologists. My surgeons best guess is that if not cancer the abnormal cells were triggered by some remaining infection that may be in my body. Either way it's coming out next friday. I still haven't experienced any pain anywhere else and the mass in my arm isn't hurting near as bad. The size of the mass has remained about the same though it seems to have become harder. I thank everyone for their prayers and messages of hope. You guys brought me a lot of comfort when I needed it.

We are still here for you...I will keep praying that it's an infection, or some simple answer. We need you here too much to let you go!

    WTF is Right!
More waiting...ughh.. It will be good to have it out and maybe they can tell you more then. Good luck with that and I am sending you good thoughts for sure! Keep smiling and have some fun to distract you in the meantime. And, thank you for taking time to update us. We worry about you.

    Was thinking of you
I was actually just thinking of you just this morning and wondering if you had heard yet. Thanks for updating we are all concerned. I'm believing that since they couldn't tell right away-that's a good sign! Hang in there- waiting and woondering is so hard.

    Cyst
Do they think that it could be a type of cyst. I know that a lot of cysts start in the lymph nodes, but I'm sure they thought of that. Seems weird that it came back as unknown. Maybe they will find out more when they remove it. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

    I asked
They said it wasn't a cyst because of the neutrophile count. I don't really know whether the amount was higher or lower than would be in a cyst.

John, you're right to think WTF! I'm just glad you're getting it taken out Friday and will know more after then.

I was really hoping you were going to be able to relax for the next 2 months so maybe after Friday!!!
