Hello sisters, I was in a hurry this morning and forgot to tell you, first when i walked into the medical center for rads they were playing the song that our sweet warrior Chenheart dedicated to me in a earlier post ,,Christina Agullara's song "we are beautiful" It seemed every word was written for me. Thanks my kindred 50 footer! and everything fell into place.. Karma or what!

Anyway I forgot to tell you, that my Rad oncologist said the best thing for radiation burn is a raw potato, he said just leave it on the burn, and it will help so much. I don't know, i'm not that far yet but my sisters with burns.. try it and let me know!
love ya
jackie
PS, Did you watch Farrah Fawsets story tonight. What a woman. Ryan O'neil what a guy... bawled like a baby. I am praying for Farrah. Her bravery is remarkable.

    Bummer...
I meant to watch, but fell fast asleep on the couch last night! I'll hope to catch it, if it reruns. I'm always grateful when those in the public eye bring awareness to the cancer cause.

    Kind regards, Susan

Someone said it will rerun on Sunday. It was so well done I hope everyone will watch it.Her wonderful friend Alana Stewart is her rock and so reminds me of my wonderful female friends.
It also made me so grateful to have a cancer that could be cut out of my body unlike the tumors in her liver.

First, I'll check my TV listings. Then, I'll try hard NOT to fall asleep on Sunday!

    Kind regards, Susan

    Jackie, I missed the Farrah
Jackie, I missed the Farrah Fawcett story because of unexpected company. What channel does it come to on Sunday? Anyone? I would like to see it, although I know it is going to be a "bawler". Thanks.

    Thanks, Jackie
I appreciate all the radiation info. Will remember the raw potato. I am fair-skinned and nervous about burns keeping me from full treatment.

Definitely karma with your song welcoming you at the clinic. You are going to be fine, sister Jackie of MT.

    I'll chime in with J...
You are an amazingly adorable couple! Your smiles say everything, in spite of everything!

    Kind regards, Susan

P.S. to Aortus: Sorry, Joe... but... Of course, I noticed the Packers hat. Made the hairs on my arms bristle, just a bit. Got over it really quickly, though! Must admit (since no fellow Chicagoans are currently looking over my shoulder as I type; i.e., my husband, the consummate Bears fan), I became a big time fan (well, a "closet" fan - as a survival technique around these parts) of Brett Favre, for his public support of his wife. :-)
