Following You
Gee, we are going in the same direction, I am having a
colonoscopy soon so know what you are going to be doing
the rest of the day oh so well!!! Seems that with good
scans and bloodwork so recent I would not have to worry
about what they could see in a colonoscopy but it does
seem to be kicking up some anxiety for me....we may be
having some post traumatic syndrome symptoms after all
we have gone thru.....best wishes for yours coming out
with great results.

Postive Energy
You attract the energy you put out.
You say, "I just know it will be good news".
It will be. You demand it!
As far as your surroundings for the rest of the day and night... I think we can all say, been there done that.0 -

I know where you are coming from. My husband had colorectal cancer surgery in NOV 08. Our lives have changed forever. Good news is that his cancer was between a T1-T2 so it was caught in time with no Chemo or radiation. Hi first colonoscopy since surgery is in Aug. I am a total wreck because I am terrified that the cancer will come back or spread somewhere else even though the surgeon (one of the best in my area) said that there is almost a Zero chance of it coming back. I can't get my medical treatment until I know for sure that he is going to be ok. I am so lost and terrified that he will die on me. That's ok cause if he passes then I will be right behind him. I feel so helpless, useless and just tired of living. I pray that all your test will come back fine. I will say a prayer for you and would you say a prayer for me?0

Please stop and take some big breaths. It sounds like you are in a constant state of panic inside yourself. Please try to relax. I was Stage II-b in August '06 and there has been no recurrence. Even if there is recurrence there are so many options. DO NOT neglect your own health for ANY reason. Would it not be ironic if you had worse health than he and failed to treat it due to panicking about his health? Please remember that life is here to be lived--not to constantly anticipate death. Yes, we take care of what we have to do, but we should treasure each day and seek to live it in the best possible way. This includes TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF!!! Now go forth and get your checkups!

The porcelain throne...
LOL! Julie, you sure will be sitting on the porcelain throne, but all indicators point away from problems, yes? So while you are enthroned today, I will be sending good energy your way and hope that you have some gentle baby wipes on hand:-) Please let us know as soon as you do.
Hugs,

Prayers
Prayers on the way. Hope you tolerate the prep without too much difficulty. Good luck tomorrow and let us know how it goes.

Julie,
I'm reading and replying when you've probably already finished the colonoscopy by now. I'm thinking of and praying for you and am anxious to hear how it went.
God bless,
Lisa
