...or is there? I was wondering if any of you folks have tried using the Wii Fit for the Wii console as a means of exercise. They have everything from Yoga to balance, to steps and other exercises. Since we have a Wii for the kids, I wondered if it's worth the try. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks ;-)

Yes, I have it. I was using it before the cancer DX. I am just now starting back on it. Not too much, but a little every other day. I personally think it's worth the money. But then, I didn't buy it...it was a gift from my daughter! I find it challenging enough to keep my interest. And my grandsons like to work it with me.

    Yes
My husband uses our Wii as well. He does the yoga mostly. It does have some good stretching moves. My hubby is being treated for stomach cancer.

We have one and I am trying to get my husband and son to use it. I am in a wheel chair ( due to MS) and can't use the board but the other games are a blast. I like the bowling and boxing, tennis is fun also. My son and his kids use it all the time. I would do it if I could. Let me know how you like it. Paula G.

    Wii is Awesome!
I love it~ the baseball, yoga, tennis, bowling all that.. and I have a mi on my wii games (why does it sound strange to use the Mi wii in the same sentence? lol)

Wii also has this family board game nights game as well, which I just seen in a commercial on TV..it has Monopoly, Scrabble, Sorry, and all those, which I love those old games, and the graphics seemed pretty on it.

My family and I also enjoy Rock Band... I love the drums, so I usually play that, my 14 year old sings, she has such a pretty voice, my 12 year old will play lead guitar, and my son likes the bass guitar, it great to get together and all jam out!

I bet they have a game with the old arcade games as well, like pacman, galaxia, asteroids...that be cool!

...there's only 1 remote in the bulk, so make sure to buy another one so you can play 2 players :)

    Got one for Mom's day
My daughter (well... husband) got me a Wii for Mother's day and gave it to me early. I got the Wii fit a day later. I have to say, I use the gym at least 3 times a week for at least 1.5 hours each time. I tried the Wii Fit for 40 minutes, checking out each excercise that was open, and found that it was fun and I kept pushing for better time or a better score. The opening excercises are 1-3 minutes each and I wondered if it would be effective. Much to my amazement and delight, I was sore the next day, and SORE the day after that. I also know that my best friend has been using the program since Christmas and claims that she still loves it. I saw as well that there is a game designed around one of the Biggest Loser trainers which is compatible and another by EASports coming out mid May. I still enjoy going to the gym, but I feel that this is a fun way to get some excercise. My vote: well worth the money.

I am addicted to Wii bowling! My hubby has to pry the controller out of my hand. Did you know you can bowl sitting down?? LOL!

    Heard good things
Give it a try Phil. It is fun. I don't have one but tried it out at an office party and it was a blast. be careful where you wave your arms so ya don't accidentally smack someone.

    Wii Fit
WE've had one before my colon cancer struck and I used it every day. I asked my husband about getting it back out for me, but he won't because the chemo has made me so unbalanced, he's afraid I'll hurt myself when I'm alone.
