psychic visit
Hmmm.........I went for the entertainment and with an open mind because some of what my sister had heard in the past was kind of spot on weird.
She started by telling me that my mom was there, not enveloping me, but velcroed to my back pushing me and supporting me from behind...wanting me to be stubborn and opinionated to get through this disease. She talked about seeing me driving into a nearby town on a regular basis, a speed bump up ahead with some difficult curves but that the road I was traveling was going to be a long one with no repeat of history after this fall. The bumps and curves she felt would be side effects getting somewhat more difficult this summer, but that just before my bithday this fall (she then asked when it was and I said Sept) someone would gift me a trip that would involve mountains, water, and watching or swimming with dolphins. When I returned I would be refreshed and ready for the last surgical procedure and ready to finish up the struggle. She said that the interaction with the dolphins would be especially therapeutic and that my mother would be there with me. She also said that my mother was with me when I swam with dolphins in mexico.
The session went on for about an hour...with much of what she said the kinds of things that people and cancer websites say all the time...be strong, conserve your energy, your going to be a survivor, allow yourself to be helped and to whine....
But the dolphin and trip thing was weird...I had never told my siblings about swimming with the dolphins in Mexico on a trip with my husband and children shortly after my mothers death. Anyway I am hoping to go somewhere warm late in fall just prior to surgery...my brother lives in Tai Pei and had suggested I use some of his air mile to meet him in the Phillipines to go diving................so last nite I called him and told him that mom wants him to give me the trip!
During the session she referred to my mothers presence as the spirit guide .... I was thinking that all of you are like spirit guides for this journey for me and others on this board........just wanted to share

That's wonderful. I've never learned to swim. Lots of things we don't understand.
As Marcia says there are many things we don't understand. And many things we cannot explain. I feel my mom with me so many times..I believe that love and spirit lives on. I hope you will be swimming with the dolphins again soon!

Hey jojo.......
I too think that we live on in some way that we are yet to discover. I don't know if it is what we call Heaven or a parallel universe...whatever. But I am certain in my own mind... just my personal opinion...that we are surrounded by loved ones all of the time. Just because we can't see their energy doesn't mean that they are not there. We can't see the air we breathe or the wind that blows. But it's there nonetheless.
Ok, so much for my spiritual philosophy..lol!! Swimming wih dolphins sounds wonderful and it's something that really only a lucky few get to do.
You go on that trip this Fall, and you have yourself a wonderful time! Wow, how cool to look forward to something like that!
Hugs,

I love it! That is so cool!
I love it! That is so cool! Listen, this is what I found on Dolphins:
Keyword summary: joy, spiritual depth, play.
The dolphin is a symbol of joy, of being able to ‘go with the flow’ of life, free from worry. It is significant that they are mammals that live in water because water and the oceans are symbolic of our deeper emotions and the cosmic ocean of life. Dolphins play, leap, twist and turn in these waters, and so as a symbol they represent the ability for us to release limitations, and then accept and enjoy our deeper spiritual nature. Dolphins do not dwell on the meaning of life, they simply live life to the full as a part of the cosmic dance. You should wear the symbol of dolphin as a way of showing your intention to become more at one with the breath of life (that is the spiritual nature of life) and to promote a connection with laughter, joyful release and the ability to give of yourself freely to others.
Sounds like a beautiful future!
One time at the Cancer Agency for one of the many app'ts before surgery, etc. I walked around the corner and saw a psychic shop. I thought, "what the heck, this could be interesting".
Anyways, she rambled on about a ton of stuff and never mentioned cancer. So I told her when she was through and she said it was a mistake and I shouldn't have gotten it. I think I wasted $20 there.

I don't confess to being a believer of ghosts, etc. BUT I can't totally deny it either. Due to stuff I have seen, heard, felt. I wonder..Has anyone in here read the book 'FLUKE' by James Herbert? Sure makes you think about things differently.0 -
I was visited by my father in law
No joke. We were staying at the house for the funeral. I was sleeping, he bumped the bed, I woke up and saw him standing at the end of the bed. He said "it all going to be ok now, go back to sleep". I did, and that was it. His daughter got very mad at me when I told her, said he never came to see her. Oh well, I have no control over that, I know we was very disappointed in her choices in life.
That's my two cents.
