good news about my mom!

hi ladies-just wanted to share some good news about my mom who was diagnosed with stage 4 metastasized to her liver on mar. 24 (my birthday )-:) she has finished her first round of carbo/taxol and her ca125 went from 4000 to 302! i almost fell off my chair! she is feeling pretty good except for constipation issues. not having to take any nausea meds either!! so far so good and she may be able to have debulking surgery soon. thank you all for your prayers. we really appreciate it and i think they are working!!

    That is even better than I did!. In four chemos, I went from 2999 to 35. Then was able to have the surgery and five more doses. That kept it down below 10 for about a year. The CT showed that the tumors all shrunk to more than half the size too. Carbo and taxol did the trick for me. We are dancing with your mom. It is tough to go through but worth it as far as I am concerned. Yippee!!!!! Saundra
