Gas Control
Sorry... I don't have that issue either. I don't have a bag, nor do I seem to have the problem in general so I don't take anything for it.
You may not get that many replies because the questions you ask sometimes are not necessarily ones that people can relate to, so they wait for someone who can relate to them to answer. It is not because people aren't intentionally not answering you. I have not answered your questions in the past because the majority of them I haven't understood, or if I can understand them, they are not things that I have gone through myself so I don't have answers for you.
I do know there have been quite a few threads/discussions in the past about the gas issues with the bags, so you could also do a search for those discussions while waiting for folk to answer you on this thread.

Gas
I know you have a colostomy and I have an ileostomy but my gas has gotten better since surgery. I'm not sure if the ostomy type makes a difference. I can even drink pop and eat all the veggies I want and she only sings once in a while (once while in front of someone - yikes). Most of my gas is produced first thing (early about 5:30 a.m.) in the morning, but then my pouch is usually ready to be emptied. I guess I always had gas about that time anyway so my system seems to be on the same schedule.
You might want to ask on the ostomy board too. I've been going to that site for similar questions.
Hope someone can help you.

My husband has been having a lot of gas. We were taking about it today. He does not have a bag. We were wondering if it was one of the drugs he is on. He hasn't tried beno but may. If you do let me no how it is working. Paula G.
I haven't had any real issues with gas or loud flatulence, but when I did have gas pains when I first got my bag, I used Gas-X and it did help with the pains, but I did hear Beano did work as well pretty good to control it abit.0 -

and blame it on him.
Sorry to be a comedian here, but it had to be suggested, right?
Sorry that you are having this problem, my DH who does not have a bag also has this problem. I think I'll get him some Beano or GasX to try.0 -

I have a colostomy and use Bean-o regularly. It is a little pricey, but it's worth it to me. I irrigate my colostomy and that helps, too.
Good luck,

Beano
I don't have a bag, but I have had to use beano even before colon cancer
I do find that it works. Also, I am lactose intolerant and normally have rice milk in a bowl of cereal instead of regular milk. I have discovered that if I run out of rice milk and am dying for a bowl of cereal (I get these cravings every now and then), that I can actually tolerate the regular milk if I pop a couple of beano pills right before starting to eat it.
I'd try it if I were you!

Not much help
I'm sorry, I do not have that issue. I can get some loud ones anyway
but I do not have a bag or anything.
I guess you can't always blame it on the person next to you either ;-)
I would think Bean-o would help and/or a change in diet? I hope others
who have experience with this can answer.
