We're thinking of you today-Friday, Lynn... With hopes & prayers that your ultrasound results will show nothing of serious concern. This, of course, is most important.

And, we'll be thinking of you tomorrow-Saturday... Cheering you on & accompanying you as kindred spirits (kindred spirits = borrowed from Claudia!, because I love it!) while you participate in your local Komen walk. You GO, girl! And, as a fellow BC survivor - THANK YOU!

And then, we'll be thinking of you again on Sunday... Because it'll be your birthday! :-)

In sum, we'll be thinking of you a LOT over the next few days!

Kind regards, Susan

    Thank you, all of you
It was a wonderful, sunny day for the walk after a rainy, hailing week. Last year I walked and boy what a difference a year makes. Last year, I walked less than a month after my bilateral mastectomy. I must have been walking death! I was so exhausted.

This year, I walked it and then went to the Boise Saturday market with my daughter who is in college near Boise, and my sister who flew in from Portland to walk with our team. Then my sister and I went to the mall and shopped until 8:00 in the evening. I have lost so much weight and we are so poor with a kid in college, and a high school daughter in Germany (exchange student) and medical bills that I haven't bought new clothes. My sister basically bought me a whole new wardrobe! I feel so sheltered in love.

As I walked I thought of all of you, my cyber sisters and friends, and I cried and cried. If anyone knows me from my earliest posts, I was unable to cry for almost a year after my diagnosis, so crying for me is a good thing.

Thank you for your healing thoughts and prayers. I should hear about the ultrasound results early next week. Hope you all have a fine day tomorrow. Love. Lynn

    One more thing...
Lynn relayed this precious bit of info in another post, buried in another thread, and didn't include it above in her "thank you"... So, for those who may not get to that one...

Her Komen team walked in HER honor today! Spectacular!

OK, now you'll all know, for sure.

    Kind regards, Susan
