Gallbladder
I never had trouble with mine. When I was first (almost) dx, they thought I had gallstones since my liver functions were high. As it turned out I had Stage IV colon cancer. After I did 6 months or so of chemo, they removed my gallbladder when they did the liver, colon work.
I guess that's my "cure" for gallstones...no more gallbladder

I suffered acute pancreatitis and had my gall bladder removed about three years after chemo. It had around 150 small black stones in it one of which had lodged in my pancreatic duct,Ron.
What are your side effects (if any) from having your gallbladder removed??? JULIE0 -
Julie I had a liver resection in 2006 and they took my gall bladder at the same time. I think it was at least a year later when someone happened to mention to me that I didn't have a gall bladder.....can't say that I noticed....maybe not digesting fat as easily but what the heck....as Phil says with so much other stuff who can tell what's what? :)PhillieG said:Well,
I don't have a lot of gall anymore :-)
I did not notice any change. I've had so much other stuff done I don't know if that mattered.
