Shout out to Claudia, chenheart, our 50 foot woman...

I just LOVE it when you refer to all of us here as Kindred Spirits! It's simply perfect.

For sure, our connection is truly spiritual. The internet is simply a tool for communication.

Thank you.

Kind regards, Susan

    Chenheart is Blushing.........
It is not a pleasure to have met any of you in on a Cancer Board, but it is an honor. Thank you 12/25...you are the epitome of Kindred Spirit, and I thank you.

    Hugs,

Dear, dear Claudia... I am truly honored. Our esteemed chenheart/50 ft. Woman has bestowed upon me a new nickname. And, I love it! So, I send to you - once again - my sincere heartfelt thanks! For you kind words, too!

    Dear Cat:
I don't actually blush. Well, inwardly I do. It just doesn't show. Because of these two posts - from both you & Claudia - I am now blushing, too. You just can't see it. :-)

    Kind regards, Susan

P.S.: Thanks for sharing your new I.D. photo - of you & your beloved Dad - with all of us here, within the threads.

Hey, can I call my hot flashes blushing???
Thanks for the shout out for my (yes very) beloved dad. He's such a cute man! I still need to know how to add those gif's that everyone has such fun with. I know how to do pics, but not the animations! Any tutorial for that from anyone??

You are more determined than I...
I, along with everyone else, am also so enjoying the cleverness of our sisters here who are posting with the always entertaining and perfect animated sentiment! However, I've decided to not even try. Guess I'm a computer wuss!

Aortus did, in fact, publish 2 threads of instruction. "Tutorial #1" & "...#2" (part of the titles). Some time ago, though. Just search back, you'll find 'em. That's all the help I can provide, Cat! As to where the ladies find those adorable things, have no clue!

    Kind regards, Susan

P.S.: Your dad reminds me of my own, although they don't actually look alike in any way. A burly man, with the heart of a teddy bear, is my guess... :-)

I read the tutorial from Aortis
    12/25:

it only referred to pics, I want those darned animations!!! ha ha but really, I do.
My dad was always referred to as Santa Claus, and I love him to pieces, just had my last tat of his name on my wrist (it's my middle name). But figure that one I wont show to my mom for awhile. Do you still have your dad? If so, hug him for me!

    Oops...
I dunno. Maybe they're links? Not sure if the experts are willing to share their tricks!

My heart swells - your beloved dad, nicknamed Santa Claus? You share this with Christmas Girl, Born on Christmas Day, now also known as 12/25? I have goosebumps (the good kind!)! Thanks so much, Cat. :-)

You'll know when the time is right to show your latest tat to your mom.

I do, indeed, still have my dad. And my mom. And am grateful for both of them, each & every day. Amongst all of my friends, and some are younger - I'm the only one with both parents. They've all lost one or both. So, I'm extremely aware of just how precious their presence in my life truly is...

I'll remember to share your hug on Sunday... They'll be here for Mother's Day.

    Kind regards, 12/25 (a/k/a Susan)

    Animated avatars...
Hey, Cat - one of our expert members here just stated in another post that she finds a lot of her moving images at photobucket.com...

Maybe it's not different than posting a still photo?

    Kind regards, 12/25 (a/k/a Susan)
