Still wiped out. I think that diverticulitis is a lot worse than chemo. So watch out, girls. No pain, still another week of two strong antibiotics. I scared the surgeon to death and he said surgery was only the last resort. Second CT showed some improvement in the small abcesses I had and I have not stopped running a temperature so think I am on the mend. Just wiped out from fighting this two weeks. Sleep a lot. Two members of my family suffered from diverticulitis. It is not a pleasant disease but I know surgery is the last resort because it is so debilitating and very hard on the body. I will pray that through rest and diet yours can be brought under control.
