I got several of your replies earlier, but I do not understand how to reply to you wonderful people for your support, care, and concern.
As I stated earlier, my bc is now stage IV and has metasticized to the abdominal area. Strong chemo treatments have been going on for over a year now --- 2 weeks on and 1 week off. My chemo was changed to Xeloda because of such terrible neuropathy that I could not walk. I see my oc tomorrow and another chemo may be added. I just want all of you dear ones who are now beginning your journeys that yes, life can be a life of quality if one tries extremely hard each day. It is very, very hard to remain focused and positive but that is a must. Humor and laughter have been great sources of strength, but the support from my family, friends, and my strong faith in God have all kept me going.
My journey began in August of 2003 and here I am still kicking and taking care of myself. My husband died of cancer in July of 2004 after only 10 weeks of being diagnosed. He was such a wonderful caregiver that he neglected his own health. Don't ever think that things can't get worse because the most definitely can.
Thanks again to all of you!

    No truer words have been
No truer words have been spoken. Yes, things can get worse. After my husbands colorectal cancer and him still dealing with symptoms from his treatment the last thing we thought would happen would be my bc, but still it can worse so I need to be happy for the now lest these become the "good ole days"
