Dr Appt today
I already know my ca125 is up and now today go to the clinic and see what doc thinks. I had a ct-scan so we will have them results too. I think he will want to switch chemos but I need to take at least a month off so I can fix a tooth that is giving me pain. On the nexavar no surgery or dental work so I have been tolerating it, but it is getting worse.
I'll let you know how the clinic visit goes. Buckets of teal hugs ♥ prayers to all.

Bonnie,
I will be praying for you as I always do.

My Ct-Scan showed no change from last month ~ so nothing shrunk but nothing grew. That is awesome and I'll take it as the gift it is. I am staying on the same regimen, but taking a break as needed to get to the dentist. I also asked if I could do 1 week on and 2 weeks off the gemzar instead. He said try it, if it seems to allow the cancer to grow we can go back to 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. What wonderful news huh ~ see why I am thrilled.
After my appointment I went upstairs and met Colleen, she is beautiful and had already been up and in the shower. I will let her share her good news... it was Good News!
Thanks for your prayers and support. This the chick that is still sticking signing off and heading to bed. Hugs N Prayers to all Bonnie0 -

That is so good to hear, Bonnie! The best news I've had today. I'll pray that your tooth situation will be taken care of as painlessly as possible. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

YES! I'm so happy for you, Bonnie!
I thought of you all day yesterday, holding my breath with you as you waited for 'the word'. And I'm sooooo happy that the news was good and that you continue to hold your own. It's wonderful to have options and I'm happy you'll be getting a little break, too. As soon as I finish radiation, a good dental cleaning is at the top of my list. I could probably safely see a dentist now that my chemo is done, but with daily radiation treatments on-going, I figure I may as well wait until July when all my radiation is done.
It's Relay for Life day for me, so after my treatment I have a nice Relay dinner to look forward to, and hope to also take the Survivors lap. First 'Replay' for me. Do any of you participate in the Relay events in your regions?0 -

I am going to do a happy dance for you. As Joan says - you just give us so much reason for hope. Your attitude, your love for life, your never-ending support for each and everyone of us - you deserve nothing but the best news.

Linda - I do participate in the Relay. Ours is in July this year. For 2 years I co-chaired a team and we raised over $5,000 which made me feel great. Then I just participated by going to the events and buying luminaries a couple of years and then it was me with the cancer - so last June walking the survivor lap was exhilerating and filled with so much pain at the same time. I got to the top of the hill (we have ours in a local park that has beautiful trails), we released our balloons and I just slumped over and started to bawl. This year the relay is on my "anniversary" date of being diagnosed - I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle both events. We'll see.lindaprocopio said:YES! I'm so happy for you, Bonnie!

Bonnie, I am so glad there is no growth! Praise God. You are amazing. I am going to a funeral of one of my friends today she was only 43, throat cancer. Say a prayer, I hate this.
I hope all goes well with the dentist and hope your doctor lets you do the regimen you prefer.
Hugs and Prayers to you,
Jan0
