Does anyone juice with a colostomy?

I did
I juiced a year and a half before my colostomy was "taken down". I stuck to a few basic kinds that I made. My naturopathic doctor did not think one should mix fruits and veggies (juicing or otherwise) other than apples so I never did. I don't remember it EVER causing cramps or anything like that. I juiced beets and that made for a really interesting color in my "stools" and that's about all I remember from my 26 months of having the bag.
The only time I got consipated while I had it was when I was out of town and ate way too much processed, drugged, and nasty foods (not my usual diet). I remember going to be with family for Christmas for 5 days and being so plugged up I was miserable on my drive home. I was not able to juice while there but did within an hour of getting home. I was "regular" within hours but needed a book to read while I was on the "throne". I took my juicer with me if possible after that.
I found my tummy and bowels were much different after the bag then during it.

Well...
I prefer to use fruits and vegetables but whatever floats your boat as they say...
I'm sorry, I can't be of any help with this, I would think it would be more of a good thing than a bad thing. Can your Onc or a nutritionist at your hospital be of any help?

....colostomy nurse told me that basically anything was good to eat or drink, except carbonated drinks, like soda and salad greens may give stomach cramps, because they are very gassy at first, but may get better over time, since the colostomy can get used to certain things as well, when fully healed. I had a grilled chicken salad that I ate 2 weeks after my colostomy, which gave me bad cramps at first, but now, a few weeks later, I just had another salad, and it didn't give me cramps at all, I think also time will tell what you can eat or not eat
Hugssss to you!

my experience
I don't juice per se but I have a colostomy and I eat A LOT of fruits and vegetables. Basically, no problem. I have discovered one fruit (mango -- BOO HOO) that goes straight through me and causes acute diarrhea. (pardon the frankness here!! unavoidable, given the topic). So, there may be some trial and error. But, I'm not giving up my fruits and veggies.

Hehehe... every time I see the "smart@@ to beat the word filters, for some reason I see the word "smarties"
I'm not sure if you have those candies in the US but Smarties up here are little round candies like the chocolate M&Ms
Thinking of little round chocolate candies when referring to Smart@@ses... well the vision turns me off any craving for Smarties0
