A Movie and a Poem....
The address is: www.thesurvivormovie.com It is a movie by the Cancer Crusade, and I promise you will not be disappointed. A well-spent 3 minutes, indeed!
Also, in case you are interested~ I was asked to co-author a poem by a fellow CSN member who was a published author of mystery books long before she was visited by the Beast...she was a valiant warrior who had such a love for people that she began an online mentoring site, called The Cancer Tree. Sadly, lung cancer shortened the life of this vibrant woman a few years ago. BUT...our collorative poem still lives! The address for the poem is:
www.thecancertree.com and click on A Poem Grows. I hope you like it!
Have a wonderful weekend, KIndred Spirits! I love you all!
Hugs,
Claudia

Thanks, Margo! I noticed an odd thing today, though I was a bit flattered! I was surfing the net, and the Relay For Life information to be held in June in a city in Wisconsin printed the firt stanza of my poem as part of their encouragement to participate in their Relay! I have no idea how they came to know of the poem, much less print it on their web-site! Curiouser, and curiouser!

I just visited The Cancer Tree site and read your beautiful poetry there. I was so inspired, I also checked out your "Expression" page - where I found "My Journey"... My heartfelt compliments for your amazing talent with words, even beyond your oh-so-eloquently-written posts here on the threads.
Thank you, very much.
Kind regards, Susan
P.S.: I think the ACS usage of your poetry is also a compliment!0 -

Now I've read the poem. I'm so sorry you lost this precious friend. You will always be 50 ft tall in my heart. Lynn
As always, I am humbled and honored to be counted as a friend. Thank you for your kind words~ Brenda Corbin ( screenname Ceezhar) was a wonderful woman. That she asked me to help her write was a blessing and a treasure.

Thanks you so much for the movie info....I was deeply moved. My husband cried as he watched it. Highly recommended for all the "movie stars" and "movie directors" in our lives. We certainly have a story to tell and I'm thankful that we are able to share with each other.
