I hate the waiting. My dr. has consulted with his associate and decided not to do the biopsy of 1 of the nodes in my lung but instead going to go thru the throat with a scope. I guess they're more concerned with the suspicious mass. I go in on Wednesday. Couldn't sleep last night. Bundle of nerves, and head spinning.

    Bless your heart
(((((((((HUGS)))))) to you! As Tom Petty said, The waiting is the hardest part; and those words are ever so true! I wish I could just say try not to think about it, and the anxiety would go away...of course I know that won't happen! Treat yourself kindly between now and then~ a nice bath with candles and soothing music? A lunch out with a best friend? Hogging the DVD player and watching a movie you love? Anything to act as a needed distraction. And of course, we are here 24/7...thats the nice thing about this place~ if (when?) you wake up at 3AM, we are all here! Support, laughs, compassion, tears, encouragment on demand!

    Hugs,
    Claudia

    The waiting game...
... is never easy. My constant mantra is one step at a time, one day at a time...

There's not a darned thing you can "do" until Wednesday finally comes. So, I hope you'll find a way - prayer, meditation, anything - to calm your mind in the mean time.

Will be thinking positive thoughts, for the best possible outcome.

    Kind regards, Susan
