Tee shirts
I fight like a girl [with the pink ribbon]
I'm having a no hair day
Yes, they're fake. My other ones almost cost me my life.
I have no economic interest in this, this is a public service announcement. Go to:
http://shop.cafepress.com/breast-cancer
You can also design your own.

I definitely need to get some tees (although I guess it will be a little while before I can raise my arms and pull a shirt over my head again????)
But what I really want to know, Noel, is do you have a kitty with a margarita?? And where DO you get those funky cats????
Hugs,
Debi0 -

It looks like something when terribly wrong with your Extreme Makeover ... but I do love the picture. Oh ... and those pouty lips ... WOW. Angelina Jolie watch out!

That site is a cool site for tshirts. I got some there and have been very happy with them. You can spend hours just going thru the breast cancer ones and seeing all of the different sayings. I got the F cancer tshirt too. It has the pink ribbon for the letter U, after the F. And, Jadie...your pouty lips are awesome...LOL0 -
chemo brain
My aunt, whom is undergoing chemo now, asked me if she told me about her friend undergoing chemo; I replied "no". She said her friend had a t-shirt that said:
"I have chemo brain, what's your excuse."
I said, "Oh yeah, you did tell me."
And it's been a year and a half since my chemo treatments!!!0 -

My second year doing it. Needless to say that last year (my very first) and my 1 year anniversary, I was an emotional wreck. Cried all through the survivors lap and such. This year I will be working it since I can't walk due to my muscles cramping on my calves. But... I will do the survivors lap. Hugs, Lili0 -

Volunteering as a "worker" at a fund-raising event like the Relay for Life is JUST as important as being a participant, Lili. Those events couldn't possibly happen without all the workers. One role is certainly not more important than the other.
I, too, attended my first one not long after completion of treatment - and only to walk the Survivors Lap. I also cried - shocked myself. I was immediately surrounded by about 20 others survivors for a giant group hug! I'll never forget the comfort those strangers provided to me at that moment.
Last year I attended my 2nd - again, only to walk the Survivors Lap. As a 5 year since diagnosis survivor at the time - it was my turn to comfort others in need. Felt great!
Kind regards, Susan0
