YOU DID IT!!!!!!! The worst part is over. After the diagnosis, going through chemo is the hardest part of the journey. But, you my dear friend did it with grace, humor and perseverance. Proud of you! Now, on to the next phase which will be so much easier. Hugs, Lili
But Lili I was not always grace and all the other nice things you say. I had many many tears, some very depressed days and days i looked just like Jomamas cat pic! There were many days i was so tired and could hardly drag myself to get to my computer. But once i did i would see all of you kind and caring courageous warriors, and you would pull me up by my bootstraps. Really i can't tell you how much all of the support here means to me. Thanks to you all i am now a courageous warrior too!
hugs

SNOW - egads!rjjj said:Dear Susan
Thank you for all of the uplifting support. I know we all were chosen for this journey for a reason,,most likely to help others get through the tunnel. I admire your strength, and enjoy your posts. You are helping all of us and God will bless you for this.
They are predicting snow here on Sat. so that probably rules the park out for a party, but i bet they move it in somewhere, I haven't heard. I probably will try to make it for as long as i can..sure i won't be a wild party animal (not this week anyway! haha
Hugs

Hope not!!!

Jackie: Congratulations and you are done with Chemo. You have been my inspiration all throughout. You are a very kind person and as I told you always I really liked you. Pray for me as I am just beginning my journey and I found out its not fun at all. I hope to see your flashlight at the end of the tunnel probably in August.

Hi, Joy, I think I can say for Jackie too that you are in our prayers. Also, I want you to know that you can always ask me anything. Just send me a PM if you don't want to post. Chemo is not fun, true, but it will end. And think of all of us waiting for you and ready to celebrate with and for you. I am running a bit late, but I will be at the end of the tunnel with Jackie and all our sisters, waving my own flashlight at you.0 -

Lili is right, dear Jackie. You never lose your sense of humor or whine. You just "pull on your big girl panties" and get on with it. You show unfailing grace and dignity, and a gentle, true caring for others.
You are such a good person (far better than me, for one), and I am so proud that you count me as a friend. In the midst of your own battles, you have always found energy and strength to support me and and all of us in our times of need.
I am filled with joy to see you come out of that chemo tunnel, and I will be honored to stand beside you next week.0 -

It is good to hear from you. Thanks for your best wishes. Like Jackie said, we will be waiting for you at the end of that seemingly endless tunnel. Just look for the lights all of us here will be shining to light your path.
Please keep in touch as you can. I still recall the help you gave me after my early treatment and would be glad to help you however I can.0 -

Hi, Joy, just click on the link CSN Home at the top of any discussion page. In the middle of the next screen, under the heading Connect and Communicate, you will see Message Links such as Inbox and New Message. I will send you a message, and you can reply. Be sure to write your message at the top of mine.
I am sorry that the second treatment was such a terrible experience and that your shortness of breath was so bad that you had to go to the ER. I am always scared myself just at the thought of having to go to the ER. I definitely understand being nervous about Wednesday. But I and the other sisters are here for you, ready to help you however we can and answer any questions. You and I will get through, Joy, just like Jackie last week and Mimi before her...and so many of our friends here before them.0 -
