Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome! I didn't want to leave you with the thought that I only wanted to talk with or hear from stageIV b/c sisters and brothers. We are all fighting the same battle and the stage does not make it any more or less a battle. I can feel the genuine warmth and caring that is here on this board and that is what I am looking for. I have found that sometimes, when a board gets too specialized, it's hard to let new people in--not so with this board, and for that, I thank you!
I went and saw my onc. today and my lung mets. have not changed since the last test in Jan.!!! I am on Tamoxifen and it's working. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Gentle Hugs,
Donna

you are welcome here!
This is a battle that we all share, and going through it together makes it so much easier. We all go through so many emotions and have many questions. I have learned so much here.. i keep a notepad next to me and write down suggestions from our sisters. By the time i get to the Dr. i have plenty to ask and she is always amazed at how much i already know. Most of this is from listening here and research on the computer. The special connection and love here is amazing and we will be here for you anytime.
I am so happy the tamoxifen is working. I wish you the best.
hugs

No Harm, No Foul!
We understood perfectly your wanting to connect with those most like you ; it made sense to us! None of us felt slighted~ we don't have to go back too far in our mental resources ( even with chemo brain!) to know that we glom onto those ppl who seem most like us in diagnosis who are now THRIVING! It is awesome not to find the variable, and to mentally know that we too will be "just fine"!
Yet it is also true, even when we have different diagnoses and treatment plans, that we are on this adventure together, all being enemies of the Beast and doing battle with it. And we are one fierce army of Warrior-Survivors!
We welcome you!!
Hugs,
Claudia0
