details, please!
what will you be going in for surgery for? And where? You are in Shelby, right? Are you going to Baptist? I think you said before who your doctor is, but i can't remember! Good luck with your consultation appointment, I get the feeling from your post you are past ready to do something!

I have a 2 cm stump that was left when I had my permanent ileostomy. I will be seeing Dr. Waters at Baptist. They know so much more then they do around Shelby. I will also see Dr. Howerton when I go he will be the 1 to remove polyps from now on. The Drs. here need to go back to school and learn more about what colorectal cancer is. Thanks for talking with me .

and now that I read it, I do remember seeing another post discussing this issue. I am sure Dr. Waters will take good care of you, and I am very sorry to hear you aren't happy with your local doctors. I don't know what I would do without the support of my local onc team! I will be thinking of you on Thursday.

Thank you would you mind if I added you as one of my friends? I would like to meet people to talk with. I have been going through this and I have no idea what I am doing now.

Stump?
I know i'm hitch-hiking on a topic, but what the heck is a stump? Did they screw up your surgery?
Many hugs,
