If you need a little pick-me-up today, this is a moving clip. I think there are a lot of messages in this, but the message I take away from this is one about beating the odds and about the true definition of beauty. As far as an application to our cancer community, I think we all (families and survivors) confront skeptical "audiences" in our daunting battles for survival and acceptance.

    Thanks
I want to thank you for this! What a joy. Don't ever, ever judge a book by the cover. You can't look at someone and know what talents they have. You can't look at someone and know if they are the 'one' that will survive this. We are all special regardless of presentation skills!

Hey Hatshe! You beat me to it! I have been passing that link around to friends all weekend... just blown away by the talent this gal has! I have to admit, I like "Britain's Got Talent" much better than "America's Got Talent". There seem to be way more real, natural, talents in Britain than the Hollywood trained/looks we have here in North America. I'm sure it's because we all are influenced by Hollywood over here, whereas in Britain the influence is more the Arts and Culture (just a theory on my part).

It's like the wonderful find... Paul Potts on the 2007 show. He went on to win the whole competition and I'm hoping Susan Boyle does this year. But did any of you catch Paul Potts' original audition on Britain's Got Talent?

You are so right. America's Got Talent worried more about good looks than good talent. I can't even watch that show...is it still on? I can't imagine an opera singer on our version.

    awesome
I saw that audition and was shocked when he started singing. What a voice. Check out Charice Pempengco, she was on Oprah. Also little Connie Talbot. For those who have listened to the group Journey, Check out Arnel Pineda. I love music and these artists are truly amazing.
