Hans update #3

WHEW!!! Hans is about 80% recovered. He has been sleeping often, and taking things very, very slow, but he says he definately feels improvement in the brain function...I am smiling for the first time since this nightmare began!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...I feel so blessed to know you all!!!

We still need to keep it slow, and there may be a need to replace the device in his chest with a new one (we knew that this one was losing battery power, it's been there for almost 5 years). But, compared to the other stuff, this will be a fast procedure.

    Rest is so vital, and taking it slow can be good for the soul. Our bodies are amazing, and each day can bring something back to "normal" for us as we heal up. We got you covered-in thoughts and prayers for sure.

    Thank goodness! I know what a scare that was for the both of you. He's got a wonderful woman looking after him and I'm sure that makes all the difference in the world. :)

    Great to hear Hans is improving daily. Patience is a virtue, and I am sure his being a doctor makes it more difficult than normal. He is lucky to have you there for him. You two have been in my thoughts and prayers, and I will continue to lift you up during the coming weeks. Keep us posted.

    Kathi, hi, somehow I missed your update earlier. I am so glad to hear that Hans is improving! It sounds as if the worst is over, for both of you.

    I hope you and your soon-to-be-recovered beau have many reasons to smile in the days and years ahead. Thanks for letting us know how he--and you--are doing.
