It is defintely possible
The reduction is definitely possible. If you have a good surgeon and the resources to pay for it, and the determination to go through the surgical process, you can have your breasts remade in any way you like to come up with a "new you". I would say talk to your Dr., talk to your insurance company (I guess you have insurance in England like we do here?) Look on the Susan G. Komen website, and ask your Dr. if he/she has pictures from former patients to help you get an idea what you want or what you can realistically expect. Look up some medical journals to see if your chosen Dr. has written articles or if others have written about him. See if the Dr. has a list of patients who don't mind being contacted, or maybe a website where you can read testimonials from former patients.
I summary: talk to your Dr. take care, seof0 -

Julia, I don't know how it
Julia, I don't know how it works in Canada, but here in the US, there is a federal Law that was passed in 1998 that allows for plastic surgery to either reconstruct the breasts to original size or to match the healthy breast to the other one whether it is augmentation or reduction. You should find out but I think you may have those same rights. Hugs, Lili0 -

I got er done
I had a reduction done on the uneffected breast and some reconstruction on the lumpectomy side. I was a DD before. I chose reconstruction/reduction because I didn't want one facing south and one facing north east. I am a C cup now and love it. Surgery was no fun but well worth it. I even ask for a B cup (I have always been big DD) but plastic surgeon said that was too small for my size. My clothes didn't even fit properly before surgery. My entire surgery cost me a whopping $20.00 co-pay. I had a nosy neighbor to ask me why I had surgery if I didn't have to. I told her that I did it for me.
I say go for it! I'll be glad to answer any questions for you.
