My 3 year old grandaughter
My 3 year old grandaughter ask me when it was gonna grow back, I guess she thought it was like her older sister baby tooth that she lost. I had to tell her that Nana wouldn't get it back but I did show her my new prothesis and she said oh, and went on her way. They are so
precious!! Jomama0 -
Sweet
That is simply adoreable! My 4 year old grandson was in popping in and out of the room while I was choosing which prothesis was best for me. Finally he stopped looked and the assortment and said Grandma, I like this one for you! We had no idea he was even paying attention. Kid are such a blessing, thank you for sharing your story with us.

My son (14) asked why I needed 2 tips...I think he got the spelling wrong. I told him that "Tips" were meant for feeding babies and therefore very important to Mummy.... He thought about it for 3 seconds and said" Well you can unscrew yours now, cos I don't use them anymore".. Kids Eh? LOL Hugs Jxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Grandkids can really perk you up when you need it the most. Last weekend my grandson came over tp tell me about his "visit from the diaherra". I listened intently, not wanting to laugh at him, but barely containing myself. After 15 minutes of explaining what had happened to him, I finally asked, "What do you think causes that?". He shrugged his shoulders, and said, "Sometimes your butt just does that to you". I had to leave the room.

Wouldn't it be great....Moopy23 said:Thank you, Moms and Grandmoms!
Your children's stories just made me laugh so much and smile. On my 3rd day after chemo, I really welcome the laughter and presence of children, given me through you wonderful moms.
if we could all accept what we have gone through, or are going through, with the casualness of these little ones? What happens to us between 4 and 40 that makes us forget that 'sometimes your butt just does that to you'?....end of story.
Instead we lie awake at night waiting for the other shoe to drop. I sometimes think it would make more sense if we were born old and went backwards. Then by the time the 'bad stuff' hits we could just shrug it off and go on our way unconcerned.
I spoke yesterday with a dear one (60ish) from csn who is beginning hospice today. She was very matter of fact about it and considered it a blessing to be well taken care of at this time. She still has the ability to take the good with the bad and see the glass half full. You have to admire these folks, whatever their age.0 -
These grandchildren stories
These grandchildren stories are hilarious. They certainly put a smile on my face and make me laugh! Thank you for sharing them! I hope you post more. Little kids, just like teenagers don't think of death or the end or anything like that. They just think they are invincible and nothing bad will happen to them. Unfortunately, as we age, we lose that. DANG IT!0 -
