    Thank You, Sausage
Hi, Sausage! It is good of you to think of us. I don't know what I would have done without the encouragement you all have given me.

I had a mastectomy in November and will have 6 weeks of radiation following chemo. I have already been reading threads here to get ready for the radiation.

Thank you so much for your post. I hope you have been well.

Claudia, what an inspiration you are and have been for me. You have been the best sister ever helping us with all our questions big and small. I am so proud to know a courageous 50 ft. survivor like you.

I don't know what i would have done without all of you on this board. I am not so scared or lonely..you have helped me to find the joy and laughter in everyday. And hope for every tomorrow. I love you all!

    Hi Sausage
I just saw your post. Thanks so much for the good wishes. I've been thinking about you, too. How are things going?? I had a lumpectomy in November and will start radiation on May 4th.

Thanks also to Chen for the great words. You're always an inspiration no matter what. We can't wait to hear details of your wedding!

    Doing O.K.
    Hi Mimi,
I have been in and out of the emergency room the last few weeks and in the hospital every day for intravenous antibiotics. Seems I came down with some antibiotic resistant infections. Anyway, meet with the team of doctors on Tuesday..I believe that they will take me off chemo..which will upset me..but what is..is. I had chemo before surgery. The doctors here believe that is the way to go because breast cancer is a systemic disease and then you know which cocktails work best...who knows..I just go along with what they say...so I will presumably have surgery soon.
Anyway, I am feeling so much better at the moment.
    Thinking of you. Pat

Glad you are at Home and Doing OK
I am so sorry for the rough time you've had, Pat,especially after the ups and downs--literally, with your blood sugar. It must be so good to be home after seeing the ER and hospital way too often lately. (Before cancer, I loved the medical TV show House--can't stand to think of it now.)

Since you have not had surgery yet, stopping the chemo will not,I bet,be as detrimental as if you had surgery before. I had the standard surgery, then chemo, and I remember being relieved to have the cancer removed with the surgery. I hope you will feel that way, too.

I will be praying for you, Sausage. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing. Please keep in touch as you feel like it. I will be thinking of you especially on Tuesday.
