I've been on oral chemo for 5 years, having post immune problems, like thrush, sore muscles. I took aromasin, arimidex, and tamoxifen. I've been off three months, does that stuff ever leave you the way you were before chemo?

    I haven't been on chemo,so,
I haven't been on chemo,so, I can't really answer your question. But, I will be going on tamoxifen for five years after my radiation treatments. But, I was not aware that tamoxifen is an oral chemo. Is it? How are you doing by the way?

    I have never heard tamoxifen
I have never heard tamoxifen and those others called chemo. Usually they are referred to as hormonal treatment or hormonal manipulation.

    I am a....
    60 year old woman.
I FEEL like a 60 year old woman.
I HAVE FELT like a 60 year old woman since I was 38 when the chemo, rads, and tamoxifen (for 7 yrs) all began.
But the other side of the coin is that I am still HERE to feel like 60.
I guess sometimes we just have to take the bad with the good.
