where the sun don't shine
I lied to myself that it was nothing and I was emotionally fine with it (just another routine test.Today again after I came out they told me he didn't get it finished.." there must be a loop or something from my hysterctomy 14 years ago'. OK all i heard him say was so far no pulips. Then i was taken down for a barium enema, and X-rays. OH ****!! That was horrid and i felt violated. I stared at the pictures on the screen, and thought about my mother (who had colin cancer) and started to hyperventilate. They got me to breathe normally. The radiologist must have known my worries. He told me he did NOT SEE ANY TUMORS! Although the Dr. would still call me with the results. This was the same radiologist who had told me "99% breast cancer". I felt such a stress relief i broke down and started crying like a baby. They said that was ok and gave me a pair of huggies teehee! for the ride home.
Well i am home now and i pulled off the depends and put on my big girl panties..What a relief that is over!
Thanks for listening!! Tomorrow can only be MUCH better!!
love and hugs

Mr DeMille, I am ready for my close-up!
You are amazing~ the "Booty Cam" is no fun at all, is it? I comforted myself by thinking about what the Dr has to look at all day! When I went in for my sigmoid, I told the Dr at the very least there should be a "Where's Waldo" motif on the ceilings for us to distract ourselves with. I suggested the same to my gynocologist~ so far no one has seen fit to change the ceilings! Oh well!
Glad you are home with your humor intact!
We love you!!

Years ago, I went to a cancer center for a full cancer screening. When I laid on the table for the pelvic exam, there on the ceiling was a poster of Tom Selleck smiling down at me! I almost cracked up laughing. Now everytime I have a pelvic, I think of Tom Selleck! Does that say anything about my age?0 -

Jackie, sorry about your uncomfortable, scary day. What a drag. BUT, very happy to hear that the radiologist saw no tumors. Wonderful news, indeed. Now, you can put it all behind you and continue on with your great recovery from this beast. Best,
Mimi
Now she can put it all BEHIND her????
Hahaha,
