Finally got to meet my surgeon, a Dr. Allen Bloom. Very nice, it would seem and knowledgeable. My surgery is immediate. Thursday, March 5. Very early in the day. I am really glad to be getting on with things. The sooner we begin, the sooner I'll know what I have to face down the road.
Absolutely off the subject: I belong to a writer's group and sent a poem I had written about the inauguratin of Pres. Obama and the day I went to the surgeon there was a card from the White House thanking me for my communication! Felt great!
Hope everyone is getting along well..new or veteran survivors. I have high hopes that the Dr. is right and can get the cancer out on Thursday.

    You will be my first mentioned in my prayers tonight and I will pray for you every night that all things turn out good. Remember He will only allow you to carry what you can handle..Let Him take your burdens and carry them for you and you will be grateful for it.........God Bless you Hun...........

    lifting you up in prayer
    We are all praying for you, and hoping that your surgery goes well. Hang in there and remember, better days are coming soon. We will all get thru this and probably be better people for having experienced it. I like to think it is teaching me something. I KNOW it is teaching me to slow down,and that is a good thing.

    Hello,

    I will be thinking of you and praying for you and all doctors/nurses involved in your surgery tomorrow. You have a great attitude- keep it up! All will not be fun in the hospital, but remember that you WILL get through it- so try to not get discouraged in the hospital. Going for CURE here- keep us posted as soon as you're able, as to how it all went.
