Turbo Radiation Days

Hi All: Yesterday, today and tomorrow are what I'm calling my turbo radiation days. Yesterday they took more pictures to "zap" the tumor directly and have increased the radiation and length of it. I woke up this morning ready to go back to bed. They said I wouldn't feel much different but I feel exhausted (well I was already pretty exhausted, but more so now). Is this normal. Did anyone else have these days of targeting just the tumor for certain days? Kim

    Yes...
    At the end of my treatments, they zeroed in on the central tumor. Exhaustion is part of it. By the end (28 treatments) I could barely walk, used a cane and sometimes had to be wheeled in. It does get better over time.
