If a woman in her 30's tests positive. She has the hysterectomy. Will that keep her from getting the cancer? How do we know that the cells won't go to another organ if the ovaries are not there?
Sorry, I know this is probably another silly question. However, this is just so new to us. Thank you again for your help. God Bless.

    still can get it
Good question and miss understanding is if you have your ovaries removed you can't get ovarian but you still can. It just lowers your chances. Hugs Bonnie

    YES
    Bonnie is right.
My sister just had her surgery today (total). It does lower your chances to about 1%. For Ovarian that is. Sure beats 44%.
