I got the results of my CT today. No evidence of mets!!!!!!!!! My onc says he thinks the "mass" that they feel is adhesions to the scar tissue from my resection. He asked me if I could live with it and I said, "long as it's not cancer, I can live with anything!"

Whew!!!!!!!

    Hahaha... not that I'm happy you have adhesions that may be causing you pain or discomfort, but I'd have the exact same reaction as you... if it's not cancer, I can live with it!! :D:D

    That is excellent news, Jorie! I know you are beyond relieved! Just don't do any quick twisting with your abdomen and you'll be ok! Adhesions are definitely better than cancer tumors!

    I'm truly happy for you. I'm rather new to this site and you are so supportive and understanding. When I first found out about my cancer and this Web site I was a mess. I received a response from you about how your life changed and how bad it was (sleeping on a blow up mattress, kids with family members, etc.) you made me feel like I'm not the only one that has everything happen all at once, and it could be worse. I hope you always stay with this Web site...the newbies need those with experience. I wish you true peace and happiness.

    I had to laugh when I read your post!! Just yesterday I bent over apparently wrong and had the worst, sharp, piercing pain I've ever had!!! Now I know!!

    For abdominals, no less! I was recovering from that for a few days when I decided I better not try that again!

    It's time for the naked happy dance. Wow! What great news you just received. I was wondering if there was anything the doctors can do for your adhesions. I've never had any, so I don't know about them. I'll be praying that you will be pain free.
