No Gemzar and Nexavar stopped
Anyway, we are going to try the gemzar next tuesday(was suppose to be my week off)because I have only managed one treatment. The nexavar is stopped until I see Doc on the 10th, hopefully I am cleared up from all this before then. :-)
That's it, just wanted to let you all know where we're at. Been reading the posts but haven't replied much because fingers were pretty sore. Hugs N Prayers Bonnie

Pain
I'm also glad your pain is better, maybe they can give you a steriod for your face, scalp and ears. They had to put me on one for only 3 days because of the mess that the Doxil had done.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as I always do.

Your treatment
Bonnie,
I keep praying for you, and hope you'll stop feeling so sore soon. Are you able to get any sun? As this winter goes on (and on, and on, and on), I keep thinking I should get more sunlight somehow. My sister got a special light to put in her sewing room (made by Verilux), and swears that it's helping her moods.

pain
Bonnie - I only wish I could take that pain away for you.
I am always so glad to see your posts - but the thought of you struggling to make your fingers work so that you can once again, give US hope and inspiration and support just makes me admire you even more. You are an angel among us.
I just want to say that even though this disease sucks beyond words - I could not imagine my life without all of the Teal Warriors in it.
Take good care Bonnie. You are always close in my thoughts.

God's morning to all. Just wanted to let you know I got antibiotics yesterday and already better. Now another scary thing, I seem to have been spotting for about a week, with my bladder incontinence I thought maybe just dark urine, guess not. This morning it is definitely bleeding, I have cancer on my vaginal wall so not sure if that is what it is or not. I don't see Doc until the 10th, not sure what to do. I guess pray it doesn't get worse.
We are suppose to head to brother's (up north) for the day. I just don't know what to think, guess we'll go and hope it doesn't get worse.
Anyway was just going to say thanks and then you give you my bucket of woes with the thanks. I am so grateful to be able to have a place I can do that. Hugs Bonnie0 -

I think I would just call the Doctor to at least report this development. Then you can enjoy the day without worry maybe. Glad that your other pains are better. Since the antibiotic worked, was this bacterial instead of the chemo? (((Hugs and Prayers))) Saundra0 -

Saundra,
My nurse said could be from the nexavar, and as long as I don't go through more than a pad a day to wait until the 10th. If it gets worse to go get a check up.
She said vaginal walls are thin and could be irritated or (if we are lucky) maybe the nexavar killed off some tumor on my vaginal wall or cuff and it is sloughing off. One can only hope that is what it is.
The rash is from the nexavar, which isn't a chemo it is a multiple kinase inhibitor (kind of like avastin but with an additional kick) I had called the nexavar help line and they said either this one particular antibiotic or steriods ~ I chose antibiotics as steroids make me crazy. Anyway it sure helped with the inflamation, but head, nose, ears, scalp still itch but not as bad. that is why I am up already...head was driving me crazy. :-) I put aveeno lotion on my head and put a cotton hat on to see if it will help. LOL
Anyway thanks again everyone. Hugs bonnie0
