how do get a dr to listen

boy! i went yet again to the dr this morning after having been at the small er hospital saturday. broncitis they said or copd. told me to go see my dr today and he said broncitis. all the tests and seeing drs can get madding. tomarro i see the pacemaker dr to see if theyre going to put my pacer back in. but i can barely catch a full breath. girls this is getting crazy. climb one hill think youve reached the peak amd wham another peak. but you know when i pray i feel better. god is so good. ilove him. thanks for listening .... dee dee

    I am so sorry dee dee...
    I have had broncitis a few times and it is no picnic. I hope you can get the treatment you need TODAY. And on top of all else you have to worry about...
    As for getting your doctor to listen, I have had that problem too. We just have to be more assertive and say, 'Hey man, this HURTS! I need help NOW!'
    Sometimes that works...lol

    Here's what I did.........
    I threw an old fashioned "hissy fit", as my grandmother used to say. It worked pretty well. They tell us to listen to our bodies and then they won't listen to us when we try to tell them something. I was getting the old pat on the shoulder thing. Ugh!

    He listens better now, tho.
